Our total culture immersion course at one of our hand-selected host families is one we would recommend to anybody with a real love of all things British, coupled with a requirement to see significant improvements with their level of English. The hosts will embrace you into their family and make sure that you feel like a valued member of the household. Most effective results are achieved on this course from extended stays of several months, however we would recommend a minimum of 4 weeks.
A varied and tailored programme is put together with the needs of the individual being at the heart of the course, whilst enjoying the atmosphere of being “one of the family” in an English-speaking household. Where the traditional route would be to absorb the transfer of knowledge in a school environment, we have devised a combined approach with the student, teacher and hosts.
We incorporate 10 hours of general English teaching per week within the host family’s home, 3 hours of lessons per week from our complementary course menu, as well as experiencing one excursion/activity per week with the host family. Accommodation is provided on a Full Board basis – Bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Examples of Activities/Excursions might be, trip to a Theatre, Museum, National Trust Historical Building, English Castle, Traditional Afternoon Tea, Sports event, Day out in Brighton, local attraction in Tunbridge Wells area etc. As this course is tailored wholly with each individual’s needs in mind, activities and lessons may be added and quotes can provided for these separately.
